Submitting A Story

  • Submitting a story does not give away any of your rights. If all parties decide to go into business together to publish your story, then contracts will be signed at that time.

  • We care about your prose, your storytelling, the art you can weave from the written word. Fixing commas is our job.

  • We will not judge you solely on your first page. In fact, we will be asking you to submit the entire story and also roughly 2000 words from the book that you feel showcases your work best.

  • If you have a good story with engaging prose, but some things haven’t come together as intended, you can still submit. Endings are hard. Beginnings are hard. Plot holes are hard. That’s what developmental editing is for.

  • If you start the process and change your mind, you can always leave the submission and come back to it later or cancel entirely.
